“Yeah,” Katie admitted, a little embarrassed as her exploits with Ginny were referred to again. Had it really been that surprising to Heidi? It had to have been. Not that Katie minded, per se. She just wasn’t used to it mostly, but she wasn’t as comfortable talking about sex as Heidi and especially Ginny. “She is trouble.” Katie giggled. “Though, I think a good kind.”
Katie could sense Heidi’s discomfort with the subject. Gently, she reached out and rubbed Heidi’s shoulder. “Don’t worry, you guys are doing well. Just give her time. It’s tougher for some than others. I had it pretty lucky. You did too, at least about that. So, you got lucky with her except for that. She’ll come around though.” Katie trusted Heidi’s judgment about Tracey and was sure she would eventually.
Getting to her feet, Katie groaned softly. “I really need to get this paper done or they’ll be no reason to talk to Ginny as I won’t be here to date her.” Katie smiled. It was an exaggeration, she was hardly going to flunk out of school, but failing on her paper would hardly do great things for her.
“See you around soon, right?” Katie said with a happy smile. “Let me know what’s going on. I’d love to hang out with you and Tracey again.” Making sure she had her book, she walked over and got her school bag and headed out of the library.
