“Oh?” Katie asked softly. “Oh!” She buried her face in her hands. “She told you…everything?” Katie asked, her hands muffling her voice. In the moment, she playfully considered smothering herself to save any more embarrassment.
“I…have to admit that it’s tough not to get like that when I think about it…” Katie admitted softly.
“Heidi?” Katie asked softly, looking up. “I don’t think I’ve ever told you this. I really haven’t told anyone. But, one of the things looking back that really hurt me with me and Alicia was the first time we ever…” Sh swallowed hard, unsure how to describe it. “…I ever let her…shag me…” She looked at Heidi, hoping she udnerstood what she meant; shagging with a strap on. “I was really nervous. I mean really, really, really nervous.”
“She told me it would be all right. I imagined that she’d be…on top of me and that she would be gentle and kiss me and tell me that it was all right. Make me feel better, you know?” Katie swallowed hard, trying to overcome her shyness at such an explicit subject and her bad memories.
“Instead she made me lay on my stomach, telling me it would be less scary that way. She didn’t kiss me. She wasn’t affectionate at all. I was too crushed for it to feel good. I started crying. Alicia stopped and tried to talk to me about it, but I couldn’t explain myself well…”
“She told me to grow up and left,” Katie admitted, obviously upset by the story. “I just don’t want…anyone else to ever feel like that. I don’t know how I feel about Ginny exactly. But, I do have affection for her and I would hate to think she might have felt that way.”
Katie hadn’t done that to Ginny, but she had denied her kisses and affection at points. Of course, later in the night, she had been very affectionate.
“All right,” Katie agreed, not sure where Heidi might be going with her secret. “I will.” She was happy for a new subject to help her get over the bad memories.
Katie didn’t get it at first. “Ummm….all right.” They had seen Professor Delacour and Lavender Brown? Big deal, so had she and the rest of the school. Then something clicked. “Wait…you saw them together? Like together together?” No…couldn’t be…
