“Oh, God, no!” Katie laughed, frantically smoothing her uniform and her hair before straightening her glasses. She kept laughing, amused by her own joke.
“I haven’t really heard anything yet,” Katie admitted. “I have my official letter inviting me to training camp in June. So, I will find out then.” She sighed dreamily at the mention of the wonderful and super hot Gwenog Jones. “I can’t wait to meet her. I hope I don’t make an idiot out of myself…” Katie wasn’t always suave and cool when dealing with someone she had a crush on.
Katie shrugged. “She seemed nice. Maybe we were both nervous. I might see if she wants to do something another time. That’s assuming she is interested in that. She didn’t seem to dislike me. But…I think she noticed the lack of chemistry.” She smiled. “I did give her a little kiss at the end though. That was nice. She got all embarrassed.” She chuckled in a good natured fashion.
Katie was not a suspicious person by nature so she didn’t suspect that Heidi was getting at something. “Yeah, it was pretty fun. A little wild…” Katie wasn’t really a drinker and she was a complete lightweight, as Heidi well knew.
