“Yeah,” Katie admitted sheepishly. She chuckled as Heidi began to straighten her uniform. “Do I look that bad?” She shook her head; it had certainly not been the rest few days for her.
“I am beginning to agree with you,” Katie sighed as she looked for the book. “I’m already being scouted, how much need am I going to have to brew potions while I am tossing around a Quaffle?” She made sure to keep her voice soft, there were very few people who knew about Katie’s try out with the Harpies.
“Here it is!” She whipped the book off the shelf angrily. “This paper really is going to be the death of me…”
Leaning against the shelves, she cradled the book against her chest and shrugged. “It was fun. Sam is a really nice girl. I am not sure we really…clicked though, you know?”
Katie pushed the glasses up on her nose. She decided not to say anything about the party...yet. She made the excuse to herself that it had happened the next day.
