The spark felt when their finger's touched did not go unnoticed by Fleur. She just smiled to herself and chalked it up as another reason why she liked the girl. She knew that anyone who had that spark with her was worth getting to know. She supposed that the fact that Lavender was a student and she was a professor should have stopped her from thinking such things, and it did, for a while. But Fleur was never one to really rationalize things. She had always preferred to go with her emotions.
"Oui." She nodded. The Weasley boy had been known for his hotheadedness, Fleur was surprised that her Veela charm would still have such an effect on him. "I used to date 'is brotzher, Bill, but I broke up wizh 'im a few monzhs before I came 'ere."
"Eet ees alright." Fleur gave a smile and spoke more to herself than anyone, "Ce n'est que naturel..."
Smiling again at Lavender's enthusiasm, Fleur listened. "You mozher was a model? I am tres impressed." She gave a slightly flirtatious grin, unconscious that this was a student she was talking to, "Now I know where you get it from." She complimented, referencing the Blonde's looks. "I was asked eef I would model when I was een Paris last. I 'ad to turn zhem down zhough. I do not zhink I would 'ave fit een well wizh zhe ozher models. All zhe French models are sticks."
"But you, chere, I am sure, would look fabulous een Chanel." Or anything else for that matter...
Fleur let the crush comment go, she knew who it was, there was no need to pry. "I enjoy eet. Eet 'as eet's 'ard points, but for zhe most part it ees wonderful."
Licking her lips, Fleur thought of an idea. "Mademoiselle Brown, I 'ave a proposition for you." She began, tapping her fingers on her desk. "Eef you can properly cast today's charm and 'eat up your water glass, zhen return it to eet's icy state, I will give you twenty extra credit points."
