Fleur just barely kept her grin from widening as Lavender blushed. She had actually been subtly watching the Gryffindor for a while now, gradually from since she began teaching. Something about the younger girl seemed to catch her attention. So sometimes things like the picking on her in class and reassurance slipped out. She just barely managed to cover her flirting with a aura of friendliness. But really, she couldn't help it, flirting was in her nature, she was a sexual creature with her Veela blood.
So she watched, from her position at her desk, as Lavender retreated and talked with her friend. Parvati or Padma, she still got the two twins mixed up from time to time, despite them being in different houses. She let her eyes skim quickly over Lavender's legs before returning her attention to the boys near the back as the messed around with their charm. "Monsour Finnigan, I do not believe zhe instructions I gave you involved Monsour Zabini's robes."
The boy in question turned to look at Fleur, that even vacant stare boys seemed to have when she spoke directly to them. He nodded his head and apologized under his breath before turning to his friends and Fleur returned to her watching.
Letting the classroom empty before she spoke to the girl, Fleur began to straighten out her desks, picking up a pile of essays from her first years that she needed to grade. Looking to Lavender, Fleur spoke, "Do not look so scared. I do not bite." She chuckled. Unless you want me too... "Eef you would follow me to my office." She motioned with her head and turned to open the door to an adjourning room that served as her office.
After entering, Fleur placed the essays on the large desk inside. Her office itself was decorated sparsely, Book shelved lined two of the walls, her desk was in the center, and too the side was a comfy chaise and coffee table where she often found herself reading.
Motioning for Lavender to come closer to her desk, she picked up a few feet of used scroll. "Do you know what zhis ees, Mademoiselle Brown?" She asked, her voice gentle and firm at the same time, yet exhibiting no sense of anger, but only concern. "Eet ees your last test." Her eyes rested on Lavender, "Which you failed. You are a very bright girl, but your work 'as been deteriorating. 'ave you even been listening in class?"
