Feeling the hand slide out of her pocket, she looked over at Allura. Maybe she was wrong.
"Here." Going back to Allura, she pulled up a chair for the blonde and brought hers up next to it. Ahayla wasn't going to leave her alone. She did make sure they were at the back of the room, so she could put her feet up on one of the large box like containers that housed various percussion equipment. Pushing back, she tilted her chair back to and rocked on it. First up was a new guy, one of the juniors with a piece by Beethoven, which was struggled through. They hadn't practiced very much, and it was evident in their playing, but they did alright, nonetheless. Ahayla clapped, looked over at Allura and smiled.
This wasn't the best way to introduce her to music, but it was a start. People had to learn somewhere.
Ahayla was the eight to go, the teacher pulling out Ahayla's piece and giving her a slightly concerned look. Normally college professors didn't care, but this one did. Had offered the brunette a second chance, but her student hadn't taken it.
"When you are ready." She stated, to which Ahayla nodded.
Ahayla took a deep breath, her fingers finding the positions, lightly caressing the keys for a moment. Then she began, a piece by Chopin, and it was fast! The Bees, Etude No.2 in F Minor flowed effortlessly from Ahayla's fingers. The teacher's eyes widened, a gasp of shock escaping her lips as she watched Ahayla. It was not an easy piece at all, and so very different than the ones that the students tended to pick, which were more slow and romantic in nature.
This was a challenge piece! By the end of it, the teacher looked slightly dizzy.
"Uh...yes, um. V-very well done, very well done. Violin next test, yes?" The teacher couldn't even think straight from what she had just witnessed! Ahayla simply nodded with a smile, returning to Allura's side. She looked flushed, turning to Allura. What did Allura thing?
