Allura was so scared. What if she had made the wrong choice and Ahayla freaked out on her? She kept expecting the younger girl to pull away and go 'psych' on her before their lips could meet. Her mother's voice was in her head, lecturing her. This had nothing to do with ballet, her whole life.
Then their lips did meet, and...it was indescribable. Her eyes seemed to roll up in her head, or she closed her eyes, or something happened. Breathing was forgotten about as she held her lips against Ahayla's. They were soft, much softer than she imagined them to be. In fact, all of Ahayla was soft and inviting, so unlike the gruff exterior she showed to the world. There was a tingle somewhere south that had never felt such a thing before, and her very hair felt as if it might stand on end due to the fact that it felt as if she had touched a live wire.
Then the kiss ended, and she withdrew just barely. The staring resumed, Allura too shell shocked to say anything. All she could do was stare and wait for Ahayla to make the next move. She had done as the younger girl asked, though this didn't seem like taking care of her. There was no way that this could earn her any karma...
