Seilin looked between Ahayla and Allura, not sure who she should talk to first. "You can sit in front," she said, deciding easily as it was easier for her to sit in the back anyway. She may even get to nap! Though, judging from the look Aurora had given her, probably not. Plus, Allura was wearing heels! And Allura was taller. Her legs were longer. It made sense to her.
Moving into the back seat, she buckled up on the opposite side of the back bench. She enjoyed the rumble of Ahayla's engine. It meant she was safe, because Ahayla always looked out for her.
Ahayla pulled out of the parking spot in the alley, driving to the end and onto the main road. Easy! There was a huge crowd outside the bar, and taxis having drunk passengers pile in on each other. Some even tried to get into the passenger seat of the taxis! Reaching for the radio, classical music instantly filled the car, Ahayla fumbling to change it quickly. She liked classical, but her guests probably didn't. Being a music genius, Ahayla tended to like all sorts of music!
Putting on something more current, she had KIIS FM playing today's hits coming through the subwoofer in the back of her jeep that hit the low bass frequency perfectly. She looked in the rear view mirror to check on Seilin, who was with the other girl. She was being a good citizen, Ahayla was, but that doesn't mean she won't stick up for her bandmate.
"So, did the show really suck that bad?" Ahayla asked Allura again, turning to look at her as they sat at a redlight. Her expression seemed different, not confident but shy, vulnerable.
