Allura was wrong! She had to write at least 10 lines of lyrics that were sang from one of the songs and write a paper about the crowds' reaction to the band and what the music may have done to them, and give examples through history of other bands that have influenced crowds to do something. It was due in two days after tonight!
After seven songs, there was a break for the band in which they went back stage and someone else came forward to read some of their work on the mic. The band drank some water, talked about the next set and even signed some of the CDs, shirts and other merch that the bar was selling for them, 10% of profits going to the bar.
Ten minutes later, they were back up. The show was only going for an hour and a half, and with thirty minutes of music down, a ten minute break, they were only looking of about thirty to forty more minutes of playing. Kaelirra and Erys sang a couple songs, then Lin, and then Ahayla came back up to sing in front again. Twenty minutes left...
"You guys are in for a treat tonight. There's a new song that's been written, do you want to hear it?" Ahayla smiled at the crowd, getting the enthusiastic feedback she had expected. Starting the beginning of the song, it went on for a couple more minutes as Ahayla worked up the crowd. This was the first time she actually looked through the people in the crowd, her eyes falling on a blonde in the back in a gold dress. Her eyebrows shot up in surprise, but no one would notice anything because Ahayla was still working the crowd up.
Closing her eyes, she got into the music pretty quick as she found her zone for the song. "Haven't we met//You're some kind of beautiful stranger//You could be good for me..."
