Since she stayed in her room, quietly reading, Allura missed out on all the buzz. She had her earplugs on to block out any noise. When Aurora returned, she would see her enter. There was no need for her to hear. The blonde preferred the silence.
Aurora did return, hours later, in her fatigues. Sweaty, she offered Allura a brief wave as she made a beeline for the bathroom. There was no time to say anything before the bathroom door closed. Frowning, Allura tapped her foot against her other foot impatiently where she lay on her bed. After what felt like an eternity, her roommate finally emerged in nothing but a towel wrapped around her.
"Aurora?" Allura began, but it did little to slow the more muscular blonde down as she made her way towards her dresser. "'Sup?" Aurora answered as she pulled open a drawer. "I have an extra credit assignment..." the dancer began to explain slowly, painfully.
