Narcissa glanced back at Hermione as she posed the question. Without a moments hesitation - which the second she spoke, Narcissa almost cringed at how immediate her response was. "I think rich colors would be perfect. You would look striking in a deep red."
Narcissa turned back to the mirror where she had been watching Malkin's measurements to hide her blush of embarrassment at how bold and enthusiastic she had just sounded. And she tried not to think how well Hermione in a red gown with maybe some embellishments like her own would compliment her blue gown perfectly...
Narcissa retreated to the dressing room still a bit embarrassed. She changed, unaware that the curtain separating the dressing area from the rest of the room was not fully closed...
"Maybe something draped, but still form fitting. Oh, or backless! Or perhaps strapless..." Malkin cut in, spouting off choices. Meanwhile Narcissa thought to herself all the possible designs that would fit Hermione's body perfectly...
