"Thank you." Narcissa said, receiving the compliment gracefully, as comes naturally to pureblooded society witches like herself. Narcissa noted Hermione's choices, appreciating the girl's tastes and impressed that she knew many of the names. Was there something that this witch didn't know?
Narcissa looked up from where she was looking thoughtfully at a bunch of red lilies as Hermione asked about her son. She smiled proudly at the thought of Draco. "He is doing wonderfully. He's about to take the exam for his licence to practice magical law."
Usually, Narcissa always loved to talk and brag about Draco - he really was her world when he was growing up. But now he's grown and she can't be so attached, so talking about him helped her with the fact that she was more alone now than ever. But right now, it only served to remind her that the woman she is currently trying her hardest not to blatantly check out or flirt with had been in the same class as her son, and whould have no interest in someone who could be her mother!
