The Quibbler? As she approached, Hermione saw one of the main reasons for not coming to Luna for advice sitting in her hands. She was tempted to just turn around and seek help elsewhere. It was only because she really felt as if she had nowhere else to turn that she didn't.
Hermione gave Luna a weak smile in return. Though, as much as people teased Luna about her easygoing tone and demeanor, Hermione felt comforted by it in that moment.
"Don't say that too quickly," she cautioned Luna, trying to make it sound like a joke but her tone was too heavy. "You don't even know what I need help with yet."
Moving to sit down, Hermione made sure she was very close to Luna. Not thinking about how she was invading the other girl's personal space, she just wanted to assure she could speak very, very quietly.
"Something...happened to me Friday when I was doing some research and brewing some potions. There wasn't anything...obvious like an explosion or a flash of light or anything," she explained in a whispered tone. "But something unexpected happened and...I don't really know how to fix it."
