Abby didn’t address Cho’s comment. She was acting impudent and there was no reasoning with someone when they were acting that way. It seemed that they were falling into role of mother and daughter so much more now.
“It is enough for me,” she told her. “The question is, is it enough for you?” Abby paused to let the question sink in. Slowly, she stood and made her way over to Cho. Gently, she took her hand and led her away to her room.
Moving to the bed, she sat upon it and guided Cho to sit next to her. “There are things I can teach you, things you can use and not be a part of the coven,” she began. “You will never be as strong as you would be with those magics, but you will not be weak.”
“You need to decide what you wish of me most,” Abby told her. “Mother? Teacher? Lover? I can be all those things to you, but I can only be one more than any other. I have tried to be all three equally and it is failing.”
“You need not share yourself with everyone in the coven, Cho. But, if you do with to participate, you will not be able to do so without finding one or two girls that you are attracted to enough to enjoy.”
“It need not all be love, like with Luna,” Abby said, a hint of jealousy peeking through. “It can be tension that is less positive in nature.” She gave her a pointed stare. There was no doubt that Cho had been aroused by what she shared with Romilda.
