Spencer furrowed her brow as her professor continued to speak about her time as if it was something of interest. What did she care if Spencer had free time or not? Surely the new course load for Muggle Studies wouldn't be that intense. It had always been a class with a smaller workload than most.
"Ah, that...just looks like a lot of reading material." Spencer quickly gathered. She couldn't believe that she had been caught so blatantly watching the professor's hand on the large, mysterious binder.
Letting out another breath, Spencer was glad that Professor Carrow was satisfied with her use of vocabulary. "It's been...neutral." Spencer said evenly, though it was true that her previous work were very pro-muggle.
Spencer's eyes fell to the binder before glancing up to her professor, meeting her eyes for the first time since she had entered the room. It didn't last long though, as her gaze fell back down to the binder as she took it. Opening it and scanning the contents, Spencer tried to keep her face from showing the shock and embarrassment of being caught in the act. She should have known better. Of course they would have previous year's work. Hogwarts had a thing about archiving things.Biting her lip, she slowly raised her eyes to meet Professor Carrow's again through her bangs.
