"Excellent. NEWTs can be so challenging and time consuming I could see myself becoming annoyed with you. Being a sixth year will allow you time that you will need," Alecto spoke as if Spencer should know what she was talking about. Of course, the young Ravenclaw likely had not the smallest clue what that was.
She saw Spencer's gaze travel to the finder. "Spot something shiny, my little raven?" she asked in a low, almost cautionary, tone. She tapped the binder twice more, much harder, then resumed lightly tapping her fingers against it.
"Occupancy," Alecto mused, her expression bemused. That was a much better word. "I see." She continued to regard her. "So, would you say that your previous coursework is a fair measure of how you feel about our world's other occupants?"
She slid the binder over to Spencer. Inside it were the papers she had written for the course years one through five. Alecto waited for her to open it to discover what was inside. An evil smile curled the her lips.
