Megan squealed. "You are supposed to smell it not tickle me!" She squirmed and wiggled her toes. As she struggled, she tried again to stick her sock-clad foot under Heidi's nose.
"Poor Megs, indeed," she agreed with a melodramatic sigh. "Yeah, I think I'd even go back to boys for a bit if I could find a good one." Heidi knew Megan went both ways even if she much preferred girls as of late.
"So...is it true?" Megan asked suddenly, keeping her voice down. "Tracey didn't really say when she wrote me back." She assumed Heidi knew of the very provocative letter she'd written to Tracey. "You know, about you and Tracey and Ginny?"
For now, the boring details of Megan's summer could be ignored.
