Heidi chuckled as her girlfriend seceded. Megan and her were friends now, nothing more. She was glad Tracey could finally see that and allow herself to warm up to Heidi's companion.
Smirking, Heidi bounced a few more loud times, making the old bed creak in much the same manner as it would under much more...heated circumstances.
"I don't think I need to fake those noises. I could just lay you down adn make them how those noises were intended to be made." she winked at Tracey with a grin.
"Hey." Heidi said softly and seriously as she placed a hand on Tracey's leg. "I'm not anywhere that I'm not supposed to be."
Heidi knew that she had multiple offers for quidditch teams, she had gotten a couple over the summer. She hadn't been that excited for a letter since she was a kid, waiting on her Hogwarts letter. This time though, was met with a hint of sorrow too. She knew that the she would still have a shot after her seventh year in open drafting, but offers...were very sought after.
Still, Heidi had no regrets about turning down the offers though. What good would playing for a professional team if Tracey couldn't be in the stands to watch her? Besides, she had a feeling that much more serious matters were going to be happening at Hogwarts this year, and she didn't want to leave Tracey here to fend for herself.
She had heard about what was happening to muggleborns...She had recieved a letter via Lucy D'Ancord about what happened to Katie and how they had to go into hiding. It broke her heart that her best mate was going through that. Even though Tracey was only a halfblood, Heidi knew that that wasn't much of a step above for some Death Eaters...
