The man fell, releasing the boy, as he was stunned. The needles he held went flying off into the distance. Victoria hurried to the kid, inspecting him to make sure he was not harmed.
"You're hurt," the kid observed, looking very concerned.
Victoria shrugged. Sure, she could have some crazy disease now...but the kid was alright. "It's fine, you're okay. That's all that matters." She said, her hand going back to her arm to clutch at the throbbing hotness in her bicep.
