As the river veered away from the hill, the cliff receded and became a steep embankment covered in sparse vegetation. Deciding that it was as safe as it was going to get, T'Pau began to traverse slowly down the hillside. Midway she stumbled, her feet like heavy weights. Falling, she tumbled down the rest of the way, a tree eventually stopping her rolling at the bottom.
"Then no. I am not an elf. I am a Vulcan."
He did not understand how he could be mistaken for a creature so dissimilar from a Vulcan. Vaun wondered if this was an attempt at humor.
