Elise stifled a little giggle as she read the note. Was the shy Gryffindor actually flirting back? They do. If you have ever had a French lover, you would know for sure. She gave her a little wink that Sage would get once she read the note. So, we are supposed to be enemies? Doesn't that mean I should keep you close? After all, they say keep your friends close and your enemies even closer, non?
It was impossible not to notice Sage getting close. The girl wasn't exactly The Prince from Machiavelli's novels. Though her attempts at subtlety were very alluring. Circe, if this girl had her so aroused already, what would happen later? Elise didn't know yet but she would!
When she was so close, Elise's foot rubbed Sage's calf more regularly now. She traced a gentle line up and down with her big toe but did so with such a normal pattern it was easy to assume she was just bouncing her foot.
"Were you afraid zhat I would bite?" she teased. "I would like you to be my friend," Elise leaned in to whisper conspiratorially into Sage's ear before pulling back and giving her an enthusiastic but shy smile she had practiced to perfection on others she'd seduced.
