Tracey regarded Kaitlin. She tried to keep her features impassive but she didn't succeed completely. Inside, the conflicting emotions continued to roil and threatened to overwhelm her. Kaitlin was cute and very alluring... And she fancied girls!
Though, could she do anything about it? The thought was terrifying.
"Does that mean you have a girlfriend?" Tracey asked trying, and failing, not to sound too interested. "Some Muggle girl back home? Or...is it someone who goes to school here?" There were a couple girls that were known, or strongly suspected, to be lesbians or bisexual. Was Kaitlin dating one of them?
Tracey shrugged. The topic of reputations and innuendo and suspicion and life in the Pureblood world was pretty much the last thing she wanted to talk about. "If you are...like that...I can see why you would keep it secret," Tracey said, trying in her own way to show her some compassion.
Slowly, she began to walk again. Looking over her shoulder, she looked to see if Kaitlin was following her. "Something like that?" she repeated. "Sorry, that's not nearly specific enough," Tracey admonished her playfully while trying to be a little flirty.
