Heidi smiled. She liked the way the other girl spoke. It was clipped and proper but...not. It was hard to put her finger on. "Tart is certainly yummy," she replied giving her best, trademarked, Macavoy smile.
"Much to the disappointment to a lot of these birds, I'm sure," Heidi quipped. Seeing how Laurel moved, she was totally honest. It was tempting to just pull her onto the dance floor that very moment. Reaching out, Heidi lightly rested her hand on Laurel's hip. She smiled as she locked gazes with her.
Heidi raised her own glass and took a big sip, relishing the taste before swallowing. She kept her glass up for another sip. "Good?" she inquired. The hand on Laurel's hip had been resting there without moving but Heidi began to lightly caress her for a few strokes before letting her hand rest once more.
It was hard to see the other girl with the flashing lights and surrounding darkness but it was easy to tell she was quite fit. Leaning in, she kept smiling as she got a good look at her features. "I'm surprised no one has dragged you out there yet," she mused flirtatiously.
Heidi eyed the curve of Laurel's neck. Heidi's tongue flicked out to wet her lips. She managed to drag her gaze back to meet Laurel's but it took a few moments; slowed by all the whiskey she'd already consumed.
