"I don't have a date," Ginny said with a coy smile. She wasn't sure what her play should be. Should she say that the person she wanted to bring already had a date? It wasn't that she and Hermione were dating, right? Ginny didn't really know.
"I'd love to go back. He party hasn't been that great anyways," Ginny told her. In truth, it hadn't been anything too spectacular. "Though, I may not be able to leave you at the portrait or I'd need to sleep outside," she joked.
Moving the curtain aside, she stepped out and stepped away so it wouldn't look be so obvious that Hermione was exiting right behind her. She took a minute to say goodbye to a few people before getting ready to leave with Hermione.
"Ready?" she asked, awaiting only Hermione's agreement before she started back for Gryffindor Tower.
