Hermione leaned her head against the wall, a look of defeat on her face. "Because a girl had a point to prove." She didn't elaborate because she figured that the last thing Ginny wanted to hear her talk about was Ron.
She turned her head to the side and couldn't help but think about how much nicer snogging Ginny had been than fighting off Cormac. "You're definitely a bit more advantageous than McLaggen."
Hermione hadn't been this close to Ginny in what seemed like ages. Merlin she wished they were back in her dorm the way they were the other night. If she thought they could get away with it, she'd steal a kiss. Surely, they had a bit of privacy here behind the curtains. After all, no one had paid any attention to the fact that she and Cormac had been having a spat.
