"Oh," Ginny responded as she smiled at Hermione. "I just assumed you were Vicky coming back before curfew," she explained. "I thought it was weird she'd come back a minute before curfew and I guess I was right."
Watching as her friend came over, Ginny was glad Hermione had come down. She tended to see a lot of her at Grimmauld Place but Hermione spent most of her time at Hogwarts with Harry and Ron.
"What are you up to?" she asked as Hermione moved over to the bed. Though, it became all too clear a moment later.
Ginny shrugged. "Ron's a prat," he responded as if that said it all. However, it was clear that Hermione wasn't going to just accept that and move on. Ginny sighed.
"What if she really is that dumb?" Ginny asked with a wicked grin, hoping that taking the mickey out of Lavender for a moment would lighten Hermione's mood a bit.
"Girls do all sorts of things for boys that make no sense," Ginny commented. Shifting up, on the bed, she sat with her back against the meager headboard.
"I have no idea," she finally admitted. Though, in truth, she had an idea or two though she was sure Hermione didn't want to hear them.
