Leaving the headquarters, Batgirl boarded Ricochet and took off with Arrowette on her own cycle. Smiling when she heard Robin's voice, she blushed when she recalled last night. If she hadn't gotten into that fight with Danica, the night would have been even more...vigorous.
"I'll be thinking of you," she commed back.
Heading to the warehouse district was hard at first. The streets were filled fleeing civilians, rioters, looters, and the odd group of policemen who were chasing anything that moved so they could beat it to death. Batgirl kept stopping for the last, using her gooperangs to capture the rampaging cops. They could come back and free them later. Of the firefighters, the only sign of them was their handiwork...buildings ablaze.
Once they reached the warehouse district, it became eerily quiet. There was no activity whatsoever, though there were signs that someone had been there. Some warehouses were broken into, obviously looted. There was no sign of any looters though. Stopping, she growled in frustration. Where was the Joker?
"See anything, Arrowette?" she asked over the comm.
*************
"Great! Maybe we can do some window shopping while we are there?"
Mary giggled, then flew off after Impulse. The girl was so fast! It gave her a headache trying to keep an eye on her. They ran into a situation not very far away. A fire truck was parked next to a tall apartment building, the firefighters were outside, lobbing molatav cocktails into the lower windows.
