Lisa nodded. Why did her mother give Gabby that ring? Making it disappear into thin air, she'd ask later. Right now, Lisa needed to make sure Allyson really was okay. Gabrielle was already ahead of her anyway.
"I see." She nodded, going up the stairs now.
Ally had all her children in bed with her, the children clinging to her as best they could as they slept. Alexander Turpin sat in a chair across from the woman, looking worried. One daughter managed to roll away, but clung onto her sister.
"Ally?" Lisa asked, entering the room slowly. Ally lifted her head as she looked to her younger sister, nodding. Lisa went to the woman, her hand immediately landing on Marcos' head, running through the soft hair.
"I almost lost them." Ally lamented, looking at them. Her family was everything to them. Even as Marcos stirred beneath her touch, she glanced back to look at Gabrielle.
