"Clear as in, we can see the stars." Lisa grinned, shaking her head. She didn't want it cloudy. They wouldn't be able to see the meteor shower! Bringing the blonde to the bed roll, she sat down and waited for Gabrielle to follow suit. "We want to see the stars and the shooting stars. Remember the science lecture I gave you earlier?" She giggled, taking Gabby into her arms.
While she was shooed away, Mrs. Turpin went to the girls and braided their hair, so they wouldn't have any tangles in the morning. Done with the brushing and braiding, she watched a sullen Marcos leave his other grandmother's side, going to sit next to his grandfathers and back turned to them.
His feelings had been hurt! Casting a slight glare at the blonde woman, she walked towards Marcos, pulling him into her embrace and hugging him, to which he smiled as Mr Turpin started his story, the girls soon joining their grandfather on either side of him and leaning against him as he talked. They would all end up falling asleep like that...
