"Allo," Emma replied with uncharacteristic enthusiasm. Though, she doubted Ari would recognize it. They had barely spoken since the school year had begun. Emma wasn't one to beg for attention so she had not made any overtures since the first.
The loudness of her voice was amusing and caused Emma's lips to twist into a bemused smirk. Taking in her outfit, she let her eyes linger longer than she should have figuring that Ari was unlikely to notice in her drunken state and the low light within the room.
"You 'ave said zhat," Emma teased lightly at the third "hi."
Nodding, Emma shivered. "I 'ave noticed zhat. Luckily, I leanred a few charms at Beauxbatons zhat keep my sheets warm. Who decided zee dungeon would be a good place for a dormitory?" Emma asked with a laugh.
She was a bit shocked when Ari flopped down. Deciding that it was better to have her there, even if it just made for a better fantasy when her hand began its naughty wanderings again, Emma didn't ask her to leave. Instead, she reached over Ari and closed the curtains.
Taking her wand out from under the pillow, she whispered, "Lumos." The tip of the wand glowed a soft white so they could see each other. She propped it up to the side and turned back to regard Ari.
"Did you just return from zee party?" she asked in a light tone. "I am surprised you found your way back," Emma teased. "Zhere much 'ave been much firewhiskey in your night, non?"
