This place had been strange to Ari, right from the start, and that was saying something. She came from a world everyone else thought was just plain odd most of the time with it's contrast of dark and then vibrant colors, strange dress, and even stranger manner of self-accessorizing. But this place, Hogwarts? It had taken the cake right from the start.
Ari had found it easy to adjust to the people, if only because she didn't like most people. Being antisocial was second nature to her. She didn't have many friends, didn't want many friends, and honestly? She didn't go out of her way to many many either. What she did like? It was drinking & dancing. They were her only real passions in life, and when it had been made known to her that she could avail herself of both simultaneously? Well, how could she say no.
She'd dressed much like she would have for any other day, a combination of turquoise, teal, and blacks. Heavy on the eyeshadow, even heavier on nightshade of blue for the lips. She'd spent most of the night, likewise, engaging in the contraband. She didn't really consider the consequence of getting caught, they'd taken her here after all, and by the time she was half-stumbling her way back through the door of their room? Well, there wasn't much else on her mind..
Sure, she hardly spoke more than a handful of words to her room mate, but at this particular moment? Talking really was the last thing on her mind. She moved into the room, attempting to close the door quietly, but failing. All she could do about it was laugh as she moved toward the foot of a bed she knew wasn't hers, the boots echoing heavy off the floor.
"Psst." She whispered, finding herself in the mood for conversation. "Are you awake?." Even with the tones hushed, they were probably loud enough to rouse anyone less than dead-to-the-world asleep..
