Tracey smiled back. She was surprised that Heidi seemed so happy to be returning. She had been so tempted to skip her last year of school and start her Quidditch career and that had been put on hold. "Glad to see you are so excited," she chuckled.
It was odd to feel the eyes of the wizards and witches on her as they moved through the station. Platform 8 and 3/4 was empty except for robed individuals and other obvious witches and wizards. Had they kept the Muggles away from even the entrance?
Passing the invisible barrier, Tracey saw the Hogwarts Express. For a moment, she was nine years old again and excited to head off for her first year of school. She shot Heidi a bright smile.
Her happiness was short lived though. Goyle and Crabbe walked by and shot them a look that made Tracey's blood run cold. Clearly they had not forgotten about what had happened on the train to come home.
Tracey sighed and started for the train. She saw Pansy Parkinson off to the side snickering at them and whispering to her gaggle of friends. Clearly they had not gotten over the fact that she was a lesbian and with Heidi.
Stepping onto the train, she looked for a booth. "I hope we can find an empty one."
Finding one that was empty, for the moment anyways, Tracey stepped inside and put the tag for her trunk near the door. "Have you spoken to anyone about going back?" she asked as she got settled in her seat and pulled Heidi down next to her and snuggled up close to her to lean her head on Heidi's shoulder.
