Katie frowned. She was about to protest but she knew that it was going to be no use. Anything that happened now would just make things worse. They needed to get out of there and get out of there fast.
Lucy's endearment was truly touching. "I love you too," Katie whispered.
The swirling tunnel of light pulled at her and twisted them as they flew through it. She fought back a wave of nausea as they landed.
She would have been struck by how pretty it was if things hadn't been so dire. "Where are we?"
