The death of Dumbledore had, like everyone else, devastated Heidi. He had always been like a grandfather to her. When Cedric died, he had made sure that she was alright and had been there for her. But, she hid it well and played the strong one as everyone in Hufflepuff seemed to look to her.
Pushing the thoughts of the death from her mind, she focused on the upcoming summer. She was sure it was going to be great, with Tracey at her side. Hopefully her parents would be scarce and it would just be the two of them.
Walking towards the train, smiling with her fingers laced through Trace's, Heidi wore a fitted Harpies tshirt and a pair of low riding jeans and sneakers. SHe was so happy to go home for the summer.
She was broken from her happy gait as she heard Goyle push Trace and call her a name. Her protective streak instantly kicked in as she broke from Tracey to grab Goyle form running away. Her Irish temper flaring up,she held him by his collar. "Hey." she growled. Her relationship with Trace had definitely taken Heidi out of her shy shell and now she wouldn't hesitate to release her temper on someone who threatened Tracey. "Watch where you're going, prat. And if I ever hear you call her that again, I won't hesitate to shove a broom so far up your arse, it will come out your mouth."
With that, she let him go and turned to return to Tracey.
