Penny just smiled at Jessica's musings. "I do remember some wonderful take out on our first date. Or was that the second?" she asked conversationally even though she remembered vividly.
"I am sure that we could find something fun to make," she replied. "It might take a while but, lukcily, we have nothing but time this week." Penny was really looking forward to having no schedules or time pressures at all. "The only thing I need to do is pen Orla a not a day." She smiled happily. "She made me promise and I am terrible about saying no."
Guiding her over to the fire, Penny sat on the bearskin rug with her back against the couch. She lightly pulled Jessica to sit down next to her, when she did, she draped her arm over Jessica's shoulders and pulled her close.
"Jessica," she began softly. "I've been thinking about you quite a lot these last few weeks," Penny confessed. "I...missed you since our schedules have kept us from seeing each other." Being in such a romantic and intimate setting made her tummy to a little flip with excitement...
