Penny swooned lightly at the compliment that Jessica paid her. "I can see why the Runcorn women sweep people off their feet," she mused, hinting that Jessica had surely swept her off her feet.
She decided to push past the slip she'd made glad that Jessica was willing to do the same.
"I am glad you think so," Penny replied, much more confident in this culinary achievement. "I will make you another pie next time. My cheery pie is especially good," she said genuinely.
Finishing her pie, she sipped at her coffee slowly.
