Tracey had been at the game and cheered her heart out. She even wore the Hufflepuff colors when she cheered for them to win. This earned her the ire and disapproving looks of her house but she didn’t care. The hypocrisy was too barren since almost all of them wanted Gryffindor to lose.
The game had huge ups and downs. It seemed like Katie…wasn’t herself. She seemed slower and less agile. Ginny was distracted. It was sad. Tracey knew why and felt terrible if that little bit of drama she had been apart of had driven them apart…
However, such thoughts were driven away as the celebration began. Though she was still a tiny bit shy, she was on the arm of her wonderful girlfriend. She did her best to affectionate and a “good” girlfriend. The support of people helped a lot. No one made her feel bad about being so madly in love with Heidi. Though, there were a few boys that looked a little too interested. That made her feel a little uncomfortable…
Tracey let the Hufflepuff Captain celebrate with her team. Plus, she had work to do. Sneaking around, she began to gather up a few things, got a change of clothes and watched Heidi from afar.
During her watched, Megan Jones and snuck up behind her. “Boo!” she giggled, making Tracey jump. She spun around to an accusing look from Megan. “You are up to something,” she accused.
Tracey wasn’t used to being caught. She hadn’t asked for any help but…Megan could likely help her with the rest of what she needed. Swearing her to secrecy, she enlisted Megan’s help.
Dressed far more flamboyantly as she stood outside the door to Heidi’s room where she knew she was. Her hair was up in high pigtails. She wore a Hufflepuff scarf, the gold shorts that were Heidi’s that she loved on Tracey because they were so tight. She had a Hufflepuff banner painted on her cheek and her short was gold and black with a fierce looking badger on a broom.
Opening the door, she slammed it shut and panted like it had been a in a mad dash to sneak into the room. In her hand were a few big pictures of Heidi. “Circe’s knickers! It’s you!” Tracey exclaimed bouncing up and down excitedly in her perfect estimation of a Hufflepuff super fan. “You’re Heidi Macavoy! I’m your biggest fan!”
Tracey gave her a huge smile, sure that Heidi would pick up on the little game she was suggesting.
