Emma looked away and frowned. She hoped the old bat wouldn't be able to tell. What was a punishment if it wasn't firm? She suspected that it wasn't so much a matter of what Emma had done. The old bat would likely find fault no matter what she had done.
Hearing Astoria, Emma did feel thankful. At least the little tease hadn't meant to do exactly what she had done; with the possible exception of marking her neck. Emma was still quite annoyed by that.
She had been about to answer when the chair wobbled and Astoria was clearly struck by the sound of it. Emma chose to remain silent until she was prompted. "If it is a punishment for her, I think she should get down on knees and please me with her mouth."
