Daphne listened to the tale. "In her sleep? Or before she goes to sleep?" she inquired. When Astoria described stunning Luna, Daphne laughed. "Brilliant. So, you stole her clothes to sneak into Ravenclaw?" It was clear she was proud of her little sister's cunning as she smiled at her.
"Ah, I see." She smirked. "So it was as wonderful to watch as you had hoped?"
Daphne shrugged. "You aren't ready but you will one day. As long as you protect the one thing you need to protect, your future husband will never know. Right?" That was certainly the philosophy that Daphne applied to her own life.
"You can borrow something from me to get back to your room when you are ready to go," Daphne told her. "I want it back though." She couldn't even count the number of outfits that had been "borrowed" that she'd never seen again!
