Draco had strutted out of the castle and down the trial to Hogsmeade at the head of the pack of Slytherins with Pansy Parkinson at his side. He wore a stylish suit of green so dark it was almost black that was cut in a slim style that was distinctly wizard.
Pansy was already getting on her nerves; not that her getting on his nerves was anything new these days. She was annoying and shrill and such a terrible bore that he had no real interest in spending any more time with her than he absolutely needed to.
Then…there was Hermione. Confused by what was happening, Draco's anxiety over waiting for the other shoe to drop was hard to take. However, he wasn't about to end it. He was angry that she had altered his memory but that hadn't stopped him either. However, he would be more mindful of Hermione in the future…
He spent some time with the Slytherins before slipping away hinting that he had something to do for the Dark Lord. Ironic as he was seeking out a Mudblood for something that would be vile to the Death Eaters.
Looking around, he eventually wandered through the Hog's Head and saw Hermione. He was starting to get tense that he hadn't found her immediately but it didn't show in his cold demeanor as he studiously ignored her and walked straight into the back of the inn and out of sight of the few patrons gathered there.
