THe simple fact of Katie assuring her calmed Lucy down and she took a deep breath and tried to ease her hysteria. When Katie told her that there was no one she wanted to see more, a sad, yet happy smile grew on Lucy's face and tried not to get her hope up about what that could mean. Katie could just be in a post trauma delirium or something. Still, it made her heart swell. "I'll always be here when you need me." Lucy said softly.
"They don't know, they're trying to find out." Lucy explained, feeling lacking for not paying more attention herself to the events.
When the doctor came in, Lucy stayed quiet, not trusting herself to blurt something that shouldn't be said out like she almost had just them. So she sat Silently on Katie's bed, holding the girl's hand.
After the doctor left and Katie was out again, Lucy stayed in her spot, not moving and worrying again about her lover.
"I'm right here." she assured softly when Katie cried out her name. She smoothed out Katie's hair gently. "I'm right here."
