Heidi watched Tracey and saw that the girl had thought she was serious. She should have let it go, let the girl think that, but since when today, since she's been near Tracey, has she done what she should have? "Not everyone would do that." Her voice calmer, "Not eveyone is you're enemy, they don't seek out to harm others." Was this the consequence of being different in Slytherin? Heidi shuddered at the thought.
"You're right, you shouldn't have." Heidi would forgive Tracey for what she had said, but didn't feel the urge to voice it. She looked away from Tracey, focusing on anything but the girl that was now only inches from her. "But, I'm sorry for getting angry."
"As long as I'm not involved in any career-threatening scandal, I can do as I please without them noticing." She replied. Her parents were aware of her preferences, Heidi had made sure they acknowledged at least that part of her. The only thing they told her was to 'Keep it discreet' before writing it off. "They know my preferences."
"Sometimes I wish that they would yell, disapprove, something. Anything that showed they cared about me not my skills." Her voice melancholy. Why was she unloading her thoughts on Tracey? It's not like the girl would care.
"But..." Heidi's eyes returned to peirce Tracey's, knowing the true answer to her next question, even though there was the possibility the Slytherin would deny it.
