There it was. It seemed that Heidi seemed to keep putting out there that people’s perceptions didn’t matter. Tracey just couldn’t believe it. She liked Heidi, but it seemed that the Hufflepuff was just being naïve.
“Why would this hypothetical girlfriend be jealous? This is all innocent after all?” Tracey mused, though her tone suggested lots of things and none of them were innocent. She knew Heidi had been testing her. Before she asked the question, she had suspected that Heidi was single. She didn’t seem like the type to flirt to aggressively when she was involved. Though, it wasn’t like all Hufflpuffs were angels, one never knew for sure.
Moving around to sit in her chair, Tracey turned it so her back was to Heidi. Using her scarf, she tied up her hair. “I have an idea. Perhaps you could rub my shoulders for a bit. I have been awfully stressed out a bit lately…”
She wondered if Heidi would agree. Tracey was being a tease now. But, teasing could be fun. Plus, this would give her a chance to ponder more how she wanted to handle this. Though, if Heidi was any good, Tracey knew it would be harder to be objective in her considerations.
