Heidi only nodded, figuring that beating herself up verbally in front of a girl you like may not be the best idea. "I guess you're right..." Her brow still furrowed in mental belittlement.
As Tracey grabbed her hand and began to rub it, Heidi felt her blush return. She willed herself not to let her eyes flutter shut at the feeling.
Confused at first about the bolnde's incorrect quidditch reference, Heidi soon sorted it out, knowing Tracey must have meant a bat. She only gave a small smile and kept from correcting it. "Professor Snape told me that fifth year." she commented, "He said my hands were too strong for anything delicate. That they were better suited for violence."
Snape's insult had hurt her. Heidi was a very gentle person and could never see herself hurting someone except to protect someone. She had almost given up on potions right then and there.
Heidi felt her blush deepen, if that was even possible. "Well, if this is any indication, then I'm positive you'd give an amazing one." Her tone just above a whisper.
