Tracey nodded. She wasn’t one to reassure. After all, it seemed that Heidi really was pants at Potions. She might earn a NEWT in the subject, though it was hardly a guarantee. However, people all had things they were bad at. Tracey knew there were lots of things that she was bad at. However, she couldn’t quite bring herself to voice her thoughts.
Shocked, she set her quill down and looked at Heidi. “Are you saying that I can not give an acceptable shoulder rub?” Narrowing her eyes, she continued to look at the Hufflepuff next to her. She was kidding, taking mock offence, however with her dry sense of humor she didn’t stop to consider if Heidi would recognize it as such.
Unsure what the other girl was embarrassed about, Tracey shrugged. “Very well.” It seemed like there was something going on that she was missing. But, what was it? Deciding to be more mindful, she waited for an answer to the “slander” that Heidi had offered about her skills as a masseuse.
