Heidi frowned more at the slight bitterness in Tracey's voice. She hadn't meant it in a condescending way in the least. Not the fact that Tracey wasn't a Pureblood like her. Really, blood didn't matter in the least to Heidi. If it meant anything, it was she didn't want them to look like sisters because then they couldn't look like a couple. Heidi was certainly not going to explain that though. An apology was due though.
"I didn't mean it like that." She bit her lip, "I don't really have a reputation to ruin anyways." And she truly didn't most any reputation she had among the snobbish Purebloods was diminished by the (true) rumors of her dating a muggleborn.
"Sounds like a good place." Heidi agreed, surprised that a teacher would trust a student that much. Must be a perk of being one of the best students...
