Pansy didn't want to call out from her position on the web. It was embarrassing that she had been caught in it and she didn't want anyone to see her like that. Her mind began to wander for a moment. Did Draco mean for her to be caught in the wards? Had he learned about something she had done at school…?
"Hello, Misses Malfoy," Pansy greeted Draco's mother, trying not to sound sheepish. "Thank you."
Demurely, she straightened her robes and stepped out of the fireplace. This wasn't her first time in Malfoy Manor but the opulence of it reminded her of why she put of with Draco's moodiness; marrying into the Malfoy family would mean tremendous wealth.
"I'm sorry that Draco didn't inform you that I was going to be spending the week here. He asked me to several weeks ago." Pansy glanced around. Was it possible that Draco wasn't even there?
That kind of lack of consideration wouldn't surprise Pansy at all. Draco might actually be off with the Death Eaters that he claimed to be. He had even claimed to have the Dark Mark, though Pansy had never seen it.
"If I am intruding, I could go to my parent's house instead," Pansy offered.
