Ginny was having trouble getting a drink. How could that be? She was a member of a professional Quidditch team and she looked good if she did say so herself. She watched the bartender and he was rather…fixated…on this brooding, young wizard. “Ahh…” Ginny muttered and rolled her eyes. Clearly, she wasn’t going to draw the attention of the bartender with her attributes.
Deciding to be patient, she had all night, Ginny leaned on the bar which caused the dress to strain over her curves. Lightly, she swayed her hips back and forth as she slowly moved to the beat of the music.
She glanced around and smiled. This place was certainly bustling. The warmth of the room had caused her pale, freckled skin to take on a light sheen. Ginny considered going out to dance. It wouldn’t hurt to build up a thirst before she tried to get a drink again.
Then there was a waitress at her arm smiling at her. “Whatcha have, luv?” the waitress shouted over the music.
“Vodka and Cranberry, top shelf, make it a double, please?” Ginny ordered and the waitress went off with a smile. It wasn’t long before she returned with her drink. Ginny said, “I want to get a tab going.”
“This one is from that gentleman over there,” the waitress told Ginny to her surprise.
“Thanks,” Ginny said as she peered over at the dark corner where a single man sat at a private table. The darkness, smoke and pulsing lights made it hard to see who it might be. Smiling, she raised the tall glass in a toast to the mysterious figure before taking a sip.
“Ah, what the hell,” Ginny mused and started toward the table. Her slim hips swayed as she walked up to the table.
Setting her drink on the table, she kept her fingers wrapped around it as she leaned forward to give the man a sultry smile. “Thanks for the drink,” she said loudly but didn’t need to shout as the music wasn’t quite as loud over in the seating area.
Ginny tried to get a glimpse of the man but his hat made that impossible. He was thin and didn’t have a huge build…that was a good start. Hopefully he was cute.
