Daphne grinned. “I know. That’s why I do it,” she confessed breathlessly as she continued to squirm in Sara’s lap.
“You don’t sound very convincing,” Daphne pouted. This time it was not at all cute as she was visibly hurt. She didn’t know what to make of Sara’s words. Slytherins weren’t supposed to dally in such nonsense as feelings but she found herself in that position.
“It certainly seems like you want her,” Daphne shot back angrily. “I could practically see you bedding her in your mind,” she hissed. “What were you doing to her? Kissing her? Throwing her on the bed? Shagging her like you shag me? She…” Daphne’s voice cracked. She was doing more to upset herself than Sara was.
She moaned as Sara kept her in place; the conflicting feelings did nothing to ease her ache for the other girl.
“Because you hate them!” Daphne shouted. Couldn’t Sara see that she wanted to make her happy? “They treated you so badly and they don’t get to do that,” Daphne huffed protectively.
She looked at Sara. “Because I am falling in love with you. I fell for your shite about being together after school.” Daphne tried to get up again. “I deserve to be loved.”
